Company D CW Plate......

I got out early before 90 degree temp"s hit.Headed back up to the field's at Antietam,needed to pick up some beet's from the farmer too.When I got there I saw he had two huge field's that he just disced,so away I went.When the plate came out I thought it was a pewter spoon because of the size.....nope knew right away what I had because of the edge's.Scanned the hole again and that's when I found the letter D in two piece's.Also found a button back.My buddy Roger just said the other day I was due for a plate soon.....keep on talking!!!!

joe i want to but we are on vacation that week with the family..plus with all the others going it doesnt sound like there will be any room in the cars..but if i cant we will make plans for another time if that is ok with you. i really would love to get back up there and hunt together again..

Haven't you changed your avatar yet man There was one posted on another forum I belong to and this guy has the same plate minus the D.....He want's that D BAD!!!

Now do "they" consider this a true Baby US,it's actually a plain faced plate with an applied Zouave style letter D ? I can't find anything on it ,pre-civil war or not.I went to Zouave uniform's and saw zilch......any info in the right direction would be appreciated.Thank's man
