Had a short hunt the other night with Mastereagle22. I located a few things with my XLT and then ME22 got paged from work and had to leave. Personally, I think it was just his wife calling him to go home, but he played the work card. Anyway, he laid his finger on the side of his nose and he was gone. :tard:

Cutting to the chase here.........these are my finds:

Everything

This would have been really cool if it had been complete. It was marked "Pony Boy". (I figured it belonged to Mastereagle.

Found some cool Tootsie Toys. Man I love finding those things!

I found the USN pin close to the toy cars. I assumed some kid was playing with them and lost them. If I have my facts right...these belonged to a Chief Petty Officer. Also found a drapery weight, a play bullet, an earring as well as a 37 Merc. Had a great night.

Finally, I found the brake light to a pedal car and an old lipstick tube. Can't complain too much about my hunt.

Yeah WSD BB and I have this mad-dog routine every time we see another detectorist.

WE get some Alka-selzer and put them in our mouths then we pull up and the site, jump out with our machines and start running around the place like madmen.

Generally we have been able to keep ALL detetorists out of our town for the last few months now. . . ::)

BB is mean to his detector. He throws it down, he steps on it, he uses it as a cane, he has hit me with it on numerous occasions. No wonder the thing is not working!

Besides that it's made by the same company that makes the Bullseye II. I believe the XLT has a problem with the pinpointing switch on it. Hmmmmmmm bad switches where have I heard of that problem before :icon_scratch:

(Just for the record I have nothing against Whites, it's just a running joke that BB and I have going)

You have told me before that you hate Whites because it reminds you of old people. I can't remember how many old people he has roughed up over a coin in their yard etc. His job as a nurse allows him to exploit their bank accounts too. I'm just sayin......

My XLT has a switch going bad on the pinpointer. Nothing really to tell....as ME22 said, I hit him with it once too many times.

I told BB that my step-father had these on his Navy Uniform, but no BB wouldn't listen.

LaBeep just a little secret between you and me, there is nothing wrong with BB's XLT. I put a device inside of it and when I push a button on a transmitter it goes crazy!

That's the only way I could find the cool things in the places we go instead of him.

All right BB as long as nobody trying to hold you back because you have the better machine. I used mine to move snakes buy never a people beater( I might have to try that ).

ME you just have to place a small piece of metal under his coil cover to do that? Or give him a VP570 lol The PI make the xlt go wacko

He refuses to use a coil cover or I would have already done that but I have found that a penny taped to a coil with black electrician's tape is difficult to see ::)

I have the 570 and it interferes with my Explorer II as well. But it is a pretty good pinpointing probe.

And BB doesn't know what settings he is running at. Most of the time he walks around with this confused look on his face telling me his machine isn't making ANY noise. Then I remind him he has to TURN IT ON first! :tard:
