Confederate Civil War & Spanish Silver !!

Its been a busy month for me and haven't been out detecting as much as usual. These relics were found from three different locations and each hunt was about 2 hours. Went out with a friend and hit up a freshly cut corn field today and found my third Spanish silver, a 1756 1 reale. At the same moment about 30ft away my friend pulls out what looks like a Spanish cob or hammered. She has had a good year so far. We have found 2 Spanish cobs in the past at this location. At another site we have visited many times I dug a few civil war buttons. Civil war General Service cuff and coat buttons and a Confederate Block I button. At the last site I did more talking with the homeowner than actual detecting. This house was built in 1799 and the new homeowner was doing major renovations. The property was full of construction debris and tall grass but I managed a few keepers. Ended up with a token, 3 civilian buttons, buckle, glass marble and a ceramic mini person. I have not been able to find any info on the token. Thanks for looking GL&HH

Thank you VMI Digger. Yea these hunts were spontaneous, trying to put in time when I can. I did get about 5lbs in iron and alumn scraps if that counts for quantity. LOL

Weather was perfect today. Wish I could have been outside. Had to stop by the bank, to make a deposit. Asked if they had any halves, and they did. I bought $250 worth. Found two 40% ers in them, then went down the street and dumped them in my other bank's machine and paid the credit card back. In the reject tray was a nice, shiny new Canadian quarter. I have had such a good year, I think If I went out in my front lawn i'd find gold and silver. Wait! I did! Gold ring and a silver ring between July and September.

Would rather be digging. Maybe Saturday.
