Posted yesterday, but now buried on page 3, I belatedly came to the conclusion the Confederate Block I button, was deliberately flattened to make a poker chip during the Civil War. I was wondering how the thing could have so many "push" points to it and not be in pieces, and my pea brain finally figured out they had flattened it at that time, after I noticed all the tiny push marks. The 10x hand lens didn't hurt either. It's the one on the left.

First ever poker chip from a button, I've seen them in books, etc., never in person.
