You're in the great State of Georgia - keep swingin' and you'll get one eventually; or maybe something even better! Also, keep in mind that this was dug on a post-war site. A farm where a veteran lived. I've dug 2 Confederate buttons since I started serious detecting in 2010 and both of them have been on farms. Not camps or battlefields. I've dug plenty of yankee buttons on CW sites, but no Confederates yet.
