I had a rather *interesting* day of "finds" today.

There will be no pics, no vids, no film at eleven. :tongue3:

You'll just have to trust me. :)

It all started on a dark, damp, dreary and foggy morning where I was debating on going for a walk.
Just as I was deciding, a couple of overflowing buckets of past walks' scrap caught my eye.

Not needing much encouragement to not go today. I decided to sort some of the scrap and see about
cashing. Put it off long enough!

So, I did and collected 25 dollars which was a surprise cuz I was expecting way less!
All for piling some metal in a bucket, (better than 2 dollars in clad quarters,
but not the same) :dontknow:

So, then, I went to the store to splurge/celebrate a bit. On the way in the store, checked the coinstar.
Usually nothing, there were 3 dimes and a penny waiting for me. The day was picking up!
Then I noticed that 2 of them were silver! A '36 and a '46 Roosie! Well, well, well!

I'd probably walked all day in the rain and not seen silver! LOL

Anyway, I do my shopping and on the way back to my car.....:tongue3:
I spy with my lil eye, something sparkly. It would seem that my eyes
were *particularly* sharp today! It turned out to be a teeny little
diamond chip that had escaped from some setting somewhere.

After all this, you all probably think I should have bought a lottery ticket! LOL

Well.....I did. And I won 2 million dollars!!

All true! Except....errr uhhh maybe that last little bit. You'd have to divide that amount
by a million to get the real amount. :tongue3:

BUT......I won!! Kind of a nice day, eh? :)

Thanks for taking a moment to peek.

Great job Bud! Proof positive that treasure is everywhere. Just have to have an eye for it.

Fantastic treasure day!
Congrats!

You can leave the detector home, but the brain keeps right on detecting, and It's a really great day when the treasure comes to you!

Let's see....
You got a rewind (past treasure)
Two SILVER finds
A sparkling kind
And winning ticket! SUBLIME!

You are quite the treasure magnet! Must be nice to have the treasure stalk you!.

That last one was the icing on the treasure cake. Getting money back from the state is rarer than hens teeth.

A very strange day indeed,
But satisfying none the less.
Branching out in different directions paid well!
Will you be adding more "solo" walks to your days?
Finding treasure with out digging is a whole new arena.

....and you managed to slip all that bling into the house with out....you know who, seeing it!

Stealthy...very stealthy.

as I get older, my qualifications for what is a "good day" seem to get lower and lower. I have an older friend that says that he was glad that he even woke up this day. but I would still call your day a pretty good day.
