Confederate Reunion Souvenir

Hi All,

I dug this souvenir close to downtown Dallas on Sunday. It’s a souvenir from the United Confederate Veterans 9th annual reunion held in Charleston SC May 10-13 1899. The one I found has traces of silver plating and in missing the hanger that says “souvenir”. It was minted by Schwabb and Sons Co Milwaukee. Not bad for Dallas eh?

That is a good find no matter where it was found, but finding anything in the city of Dallas is pretty tough in that asphalt jungle! I found a GAR veterens badge a couple months ago.
