This is my first post I hope it works. I found this rare button sript I with CS stamed on it Alberts book number 189a on the retreat route out of Gettysburg I was hunting in less than favorable conditions like 40mph winds. My friend genlee posted this for me but with all your comments and maybe making the banner I tought I would give this a try. I hope to become more involved in T-Net and post more of my finds and look at more of everyone else's.

Thanks for looking

And thanks to John Smith and Gerry Kelley my hunting partners for putting up with me. Ha Ha Dirt fishing is so much fun

I just voted banner. Rare button to find. Good job! Tennessee digger

I voted banner. I can easily see the "C", but for the life of me I can't see an "S."

That is a great button to find. I commented on your friends post when he showed it. Glad you joined the community. Nice first post. Look forward to seeing more of your hunts. Welcome aboard sir.

Great find! I've only seen one of these buttons dug, it came out of a North Carolina Camp on the James river in Virginia.

Killer find!!!, I can see the C but have not a clue as to where the S could be........
A great find, Hope to see more of your finds and stories posted here.......HH

Banner for sure .. Nice find !!

Strange how it can hide, but once you see it it's actually fairly clear.

Awsome find - def banner - got my vote

My brother found one of these many years ago near Perryville Ky. Great history in that button. I'm new at this...and for me it is as much about the tresure as it is about the history connected to the item!!! I look at your button and say a prayer that the wearer made it home!!!

Never have seen one!!Banner vote from me!!
