Confederate Stirrup?

Went back to the spot where I’ve found Confederate relics. It’s been pounded pretty hard, so I dug just about every reading, and I found this iron stirrup. I think I remember a similar stirrup being posted a while back and it was IDed as Confederate. What do you guys think? Thanks and Happy New Year!

what an awesome find, very high cool factor. sure hope is it what you are hoping for, looks old enough to me and super nice no matter what. I would be super stoked

I plan on putting it into an electrolysis bath in the next day or do, should come out pretty nice.
