Confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers.

Hello,
Here's a few more pics from our trip. We stopped near Cairo, Ill. at the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers. I thought there would be a nicer marker but the whole area was somewhat run down and lots of trash. We didn't stick around very long.

Wasn't the Mississippi down allot this time last year? Looks like there's no problem to navigate it this year. I'll cross the Missouri river here this month going to see my mom. I forget how wide those big rivers are.
