Constrution Site!!! Friday & Today's Hunt!! Seated & Barber!

The construction site is still metal detector heaven! First silver coin found today was a seated dime! I heard the beep looked down and it was laying on top of the ground! A bulldozer blade had exposed it! Unfortunately is is the most worn out silver dime I've ever dug up... No date is visible. but I do know that it is a variety 2. It has the U.S.A. strike on the reverse, so it was minted between 1839 & 1860! Also dug up a beautiful 1914-S barber Dime in almost flawless condition! At this amazing site I found my second sterling silver thimble! 12 wheaties and a my 4th buffalo nickel from this site made for another great day!

So when are you moving closer? Might as well you're spending every available minute there. I can see why you do the drive. That site is amazing.

Hey buddy some really nice finds. You don't see many silver coins that are worn like that baby. Nice looking thimble and a beautiful barber. Very nice indeed

2 Sterling silver thimbles at one site is really rare and how cool. Was this a home site? Congrats on the other finds as well.

Nice hunt, congrats

Beauty hunt. Those seated coins in California are a rarity. All that wear is from a lot of circulations and travel. I bet that coin has some stories! Great thimble and barber too!

Moise-Klinkner made badges for many law enforcement agencies during the early 1900's! That is a great find, congrats on a very productive hunt. Great job restoring the thimble too. Sub

If I had exclusive rights to a spot like that, I would rent a room at a local hotel.

Big time Congrats.
