Contacted by the producer of the Feddy and Juan mine rescue show on the Discovery channel

Unfortunately, not possible for my claims are in Northen California and due to the restrictions, we are forced to mine with, hands and pans and sluices only, very boring show unless they can modify my A52 sluice and my classifier,lol . I would be awesome to meet them.

Really? I have wondered when they go poking holes around looking for better ground if any of that is in their POO but if it's always patented that makes more sense. Any other reason for that?

I have not seen the show.
So, can anyone fill in the blank of there "Discovery" of record unless the work is on patented land?

The POO may not even be part of the picture...........just saying.

I don’t understand what your question is but what I’m wondering about assuming what Reed said is true that it may be because the producers don’t want to risk getting in trouble or have the hassle of staying within the limits of the mine's approved plan of operations. Or maybe there is some red tape with doing the TV production on public land that they don’t want to deal with so they choose to only go to operations on private land.

Perhaps the core question is doing "the TV production on public land"?

Welcome back OwenT, it's been a while, you are probably aware about the historic flooding here in western Washington state, that special river you left a special message to the goose is replenished, will be going up soon there to mine it but right now to much snow in the area. Also I rejoined the WPMA they own a lot claims on the upper Sultan, looking forward to checking them out. best wishes

I had a long talk with a guy from PLP when I was buying raffle tickets and he uses heavy machinery on his California claims. He said its all about knowing what paperwork and how to file it.

There are fewer people that HAVEN’T been contacted by that show than those who have… LOL. They filmed an episode within a mile of my operation in AZ awhile back and they ask me every year if I’m interested…. Yea if I want the IRS sticking their beaks into my business I’ll call them myself thanks.. LOL
