Re: Contest.................."PIC OF YOUR MOST UNUSUAL FIND"

Found this post after I posted my unusual find that I dug up on Monday...so I will post it again here. Was out in a field next to my work during lunchbreak and got some stuff but this was the best for that day. Didn't know you could catch fish with a metal detector did you????

Re: Contest.................."PIC OF YOUR MOST UNUSUAL FIND"

Well my unusual find all the way from South Africa ;D

A friend and myself had been detecting a site all of Sunday afternoon and only found R1.20 in change :(
It was getting dark, so we started walking back to the car through the fairly long grass, when I got a signal that I thought was the Kruger millions ::) Well as you can see in the picture, it happened to be a saucepan and lid..... with smelly food in it (very smelly) :'( in fact some of the smelly water ran onto my shoe, and I can still smell it.

Is that worth a digging tool or what ::) :o ;D

God bless
Peter
