wow, to cool. i was watching a old dvd last night, jeremiah johnson and that claw looked just like the ones that redford was stringing up while talking to greer. the mount looked about the same from the short time that i seen him stringing them. why do i allways want to drink while watching that dvdGadget said:Excellent contest and prizes Mighty AP. Great topic too!
My most unusual find by far... Found this old mounted bear claw 4 inches deep in a park in Alaska.
i said:Nah, it was way too dirty to drink. Plus, who knows, some little dirt child could have urinized on the can, too.

Hope I'm not too late.
This iron knife and grape shot found together in Michigan is about as unusual as they come I guess.
The knife has been cleaned and needs to be checked by an expert but it is believed to be a French Trader knife dated maybe from 1650 to 1850.
The French trappers traded these to the Indians for beaver pelts.
I now live a short distance from what was once one of their key trading posts.
Thanks and I prefer a red porsche...LOL!

Hey Badger!
How about your avatar
That is certainly an "unusual" find if there ever was one.
You always have very interesting finds and I enjoy reading your threads.
Smiles!
