Some finds from a resettled town. Finds are in pretty good shape for a salt water beach. The 3 cartwheels were very surprising and in descent shape. Oldest is a 1750 George 2.
I found the headstone covered in grass on a nearby small island. Is a skull and crossbones surrounded by baby heads. Is very creepy and have no idea what happened or what it represents. Did not detect that island at all.

WOW! You're finding some incredible stuff from that site! Is erosion from waves cutting into an old settlement area? Those finds are in such great shape, it's like they were freshly exposed to the sea elements.

You're doing great along the shores that's for sure, and the coppers are in really great shape for being beach finds. That's an impressive mitt full of coppers, and more Cartwheels from this side of the pond than what you would got from a hunt on the other side that's for sure. Congrats!
The baby heads and the crossbones is something really different, something not good happened back in the day.

Now that's a place you never know what would turn up!

Thanks for sharing. That is awesome.

Very nice selection of old finds. Congrats sir.

Awesome saves and your right that is a creepy headstone!

Congratulations on your extraordinary finds!

What a great collection of finds! I'm amazed at the condition of those coins. You done good!

Great finds. The type of tombstone you uncovered you found is common in old New England cemeteries.

Absolutely beautiful stuff. Love the green patinas. Thanx for sharing.

Fantastic assortment of old finds, and in great condition!!! Any idea what the coin is next to the KG?? Never seen one like that before.

Good stuff from the shore!
The way things are now with the cold, that might be the best option for us to get a fix, even though the shore finds suffer from the salt I'd gladly dig up some stuff like that than sit at home and look at my screen
Hopefully the creepy headstone keeps everyone else away too, a place to find the old stuff all to yourself!

Awesome !!!!!!! :occasion14:

You're going where few have gone before, sort of like;
"Island Trek"
Congrats on some sweet finds.

Wow! That's some amazing finds! You'll definitely have to go back there!

Wow! Great finds, love those old coins! That headstone is creepy for sure!

I think we have only ever had 1 2penny cartwheel & you have 2 from 1 site! The other stuff is good as well.
