I love this hobby!
This morning I saw that some friends were doing a little cement work by the back door so I had a little chat with the boy doing the job.
I have permission to hunt the yard so I waited till the boy left. He wasn't finished yet but I wanted to hit it before they set in the steel mesh.
Note how small this dug out area is.
I set the Nautilus for non-ferrous metal and dug a scrap piece of copper and then the purse. Note how tiny this purse is and it still opens and closes! I placed an Indian cent inside it for perspective (I dug the coin a few weeks back).
Then I decided to see what the trash was.
You never know what you'll find next! Even tiny spots are worthwhile.
Extra Note: From the original ground level the purse was about 10 inches deep.
Enjoy the hunt.
