That is a cool loking flower thanks for the pic. Looks like it growing from a vine type plant. NICE! Cyn and I LOVE PURPLE!

I still have not been able to find out what the name of the flower is but sooner or later I will. Here are a few more of the same flower and a purple one for Wanda's viewing pleasure.

Love those flowers, no idea what they are, but I bet the butterflies appreciate them. :wink:

I think the flowers are some type of Astilbe. I may be wrong....I just went out to my garden and read the little plastic tag near one of ours. My wife insists on keeping the tags even though they drive me crazy whenever I fertilize.

Very pretty, thank you! Yes Astilbe it is, they can be grown in zones 4-8. I think I'll be getting some of those for next year. :)
