cool metal rock

found this today with my metal detector... Cant find anything online that looks similar. It isnt magnetic and very heavy. I snapped off a corner to see what was inside. Its very glittery and silverish. Please help me identify it.

What area of the United States are you located? I think I may have an idea what that is, but before I will speculate I need some info on the area in which the specimen was collected.

i live in western Pa at the end of the glacier. The area i hunted was wooded however there was an old foundation close by.

i just checked the small chunk i broke off... It hits the scale on my at pro between nickel and gold. I emailed a university and their response was probably slag. Based off of it being non magetic and where it hit my detector... I can rule out steel and iron. It is also too heavy for aluminum. Any help on how to determine what type of testing i can do would be helpful

Streak test to show what color it leaves. Use fresh spot and scratch unglazed porcelain and see what color it leaves. Could try a scratch test. Also did you use a compass to test magnetism?

It doesnt leave a streak at all and its not magnetic.I took that rock to 3 jewelry stores at the mall today. The first one used a probe that can tell if diamonds are real... And the thing went crazy on the shiny parts of the rock. The lady showed me how it doesnt react to any gold or silver band... This rock is getting interesting

If anyone struggles to find what type of metal they found, please advise them to find a local metal scrap yard that has a gun that can detect different types of metals. This rock ended up being 97% Zinc and 1% lead. I appreciate all those that tried to help. Thank you.
