Congrats on the nice find. These souvenir badges were popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Yours is especially cool because it is dated, and has a place name and best of all it has that clown on it!

Here is mine. It's from the Fireman's Celebration, a fund raiser held every year in Mooresville, NC... around 1900.
