Don't know age but it has got some good patina on it. Congrats on a neat find!

Complete with a rusted rowel, very cool find! I would leave "as is" for display, the iron part may be delicate. Finding one is on my bucket list too. Not up on spur dating, but someone on the forum can help, I am sure. Sub
