Cooler weather

Went out yesterday intending to camp and fish and remembered Sunday is not the day to expect to find a place. Lots of tourists, lots of traffic, full campgrounds, and crowded in the free spots in the National Forest. Went to my old fall-back place in the pay campground at Halfmoon and had the whole place to myself, so I could sit by the fire and contemplate the yearly increasing tourist influx. I feel a little sorry for them, cause my life is better than their vacations, haha! Glad to be out of the heat, as it was 30 degrees when I got up at daylight.

Head further south. Lots a room around and west of Saguache with back roads rarely known to others. Free campground I believe still.

And to rub it in on the rest of the country, this morning I went down to the marina before sun-up and slipped on an ICY sidewalk! haha!

Well, rain is gone, heat is here. 90's to 70's at least till August/Sept. comes, then hotter. Plenty of places to camp free here if you want to return...

Hey, where are my marina pics? We are fixing up another boat to take to Ft Bragg, CA in July so I hope I can get some good pics from there along with some fish pics! Just have to finish the boat in time!!
