It appeared justified to me to, though too often I don't see it that way.

I agree, he got what he had coming to him, but too many times now, all you hear about is the cops assaulting citizens
and getting away with it

While most of us can feel sorry for the loss to this young guy's family, we also need to consider
what this young officer went thru. I'm sure he had no wish to be forced into that situation. It's
just a sad, unfortunate incident fueled by alcohol.
