Afternoon,

I am posting this for friend who is looking for information on these copper Indian arrowheads. I have also posted the picture in copper culture, but as they are arrowheads I thought more eyes might see them in here than there. Any information you could give would be appreciated. I am out of my area of expertise with copper stuff...dont run across it too often in Louisiana.

Thanks,

Atlantis

Look up , Old copper complex. Its been awhile since I've studied up on this, But I think these artifacts are found around the upper great lakes regions, Michigan , Wisconsin, etc. I think they are actually early archaic. Like I said type in old copper complex in your search engine. Good luck . John....p.s Heres one link http://www.uwfox.uwc.edu/academics/depts/tpleger/oldcopper.html

Thanks,

I'll pass on the information. I understand the points may have come from Wisconsin. So that fits.

I don't want to waste bandwith privileges by cross posting. I
gave the backstory to this request on the Copper Culture forum.
Thanks to all who provide information and links. Special thanks
to Atlantis for posting the xerox for me. Without his help it
would not have been posted. siegfried schlagrule
