Almost came home completely empty handed today then last minute pulled out this clip and button. Clip was 5" and button was 3" deep. When I cleaned the clip up at home I realized it had a man on a horse. :)

nice man - that is the top portion to a suspender buckle - late 1800s.
Good to know. At first it's smaller size I thought a hair clip or ribbon clip.
