3 hours at Druid Hill today in Baltimore City at same area as Monday and got the nickel trifecta today, along with 4 IHCs, porcelain button, ladies Seiko watch, and an arc lamp electrode.
My absent-mindedness struck again. I had arranged the coins and the button on my truck bed side panel to snap a quick pic and then proceeded to drive away, with them still there. About a quarter-mile down the road, it dawned on my feeble brain. I pulled over and all were still there but for the V-nickel; it had fallen in the bed. Tell me I'm not the only one whose done this.....ok, maybe I am.

Great finds there the nickel trifecta could have been a quadfecta with a modern Jefferson! I've done the drive away leaving my pinpointer never to be seen again.

If you think that's bad just wait 10 years , it will only get worse.
I do stuff like that more often than I'll admit.

Nice finds ... easy to forget to do something after hours of detecting. At least you didn't leave your detector on the tailgate!
