Could this be a good one?

Bought this Louis Fritz& Co. Covington,Ky. Blob and one source states it is a scarce one.The seller told me it was a $40 bottle( so why why it listed at $10 I asked him,heh heh)It looks to be in fair condition and the metal part is still in the bottom.I also wondered about the stamp on the base of the bottle.It looks like a double bottle,not a single one as most seem to be.Are mistakes good in the bottling world? The doubled impression on the base makes no difference as to value, you can't go wrong at $10, that's basically the average price just for shipping on Ebay. It's listed as Scarce on hutchbook, but that doesn't always equate to value, like I said you can't go wrong at $10 for hutches in good condition....

Thanks epackage.I guess what is rare to one person looking for a certain type of bottle isn't necessarily rare to another. Like you said,rare doesn't necessarily = value.

I do believe we have seen the Louis Fritz bottles on here a few times in the past. For $10 thats a pretty good deal you got there CG.

CoilyGirl there are so many embossed hutches that even if yours was the only one known, it certainly would not be worth much. That is a tough thing for beginners to embrace.
