You’re correct.👍🏻 Einstein gave a simplified explanation of time. “Time is what the clock on the wall says.” I think he wasn’t wanting to try to explain “time” to a layman. A more scientific definition would be… “Time is the measurement of the movement of objects in space.” And then you get into “apparent solar time”, and “sidereal time”. (“star time”) It really gets interesting when you add in the speed of light and it’s relationship with time and objects moving that fast. I love reading about astrophysics but it goes right over my head really fast. I wish I was smarter.🤷🏼

Just like you gents, I've spent many an hour in an effort to understand the concept of time/space. I too wish I was smarter, 'cause I've watched, read and listened to all manner of people in an effort to "get it"..well, "get it" seemed out of reach..so, I made up my own explanation (that makes sense to me) that does not seem contrary to the astrophysicist version.

I like Todd's version:

“Time is the measurement of the movement of objects in space.”

To me, "time" creates an accessible reference for the movements within space. "Space" being the universe, and all it contains. By "movements", I mean the exact position of every particle in the universe for that X (period of time) on the scale of time, best described as a linear, numerical reference which began at the inception of the universe itself. For humans, time can be measured from Epochs and Eons right down to Planck seconds.

As for all these drones...they just keep showing up in droves and hanging out around peoples houses..and nobody has a clue where they're coming from?

I Still Think what ever is going on, it will be Known by the 20th.
Either with an Assassination, a Confession or will simply go away. If it Continues it definitely Aerial Phenomena or involves Aliens !

If it was Not Worldwide I'd rule out Aliens right off.

but the shear numbers needed to do this worldwide seems
impossible to have stored these all over till now.

As far as the Videos, If they Swear & Sound Frightened, I say Fake. if they Add sci fi Music or Noises I Say fake .

All of my crappy bum jokes aside ( no pun intended ) It would be highlight in our lives beyond compare to all humankind that has gone before us to make contact with Alien race. I cannot get my head around the ramifications for better or for worse it would bring?

It would challenge to our very religious beliefs, our own identity in universe? Some how I think we will all feel ever so small? I am in my stage of life becoming more and more utterly unless as technology evolves. Every day I feel more and more like a dinosaur. Watching the world I once knew evolve in world rapidly becoming Alien to me?

Kids are doing stuff on computers today was in my day was realms of science fiction when I was their age. They look at me thinking it is normal and to them it is?

I am a great people watcher. I see world constantly connected to the Net even walking down the street with some on the other side of world on smart phones. Swiping their phones to pay things. Dating through their smart phones. banking in fact whole lives remove around their phone and taking pictures of everything. Talking abbreviated jargon I have no idea what they are talking about.

The world is already changing so fast as if time was speeding up? A1 will bring many great things and also our technology growth has exploded in the last few years. Yet for many of us those simple jobs technology will replace will rob many of us part of our identity?

What happens to mankind when they become as a race obsolete irreverent to progress and technology? And no doubt an Alien race if they made contact with even much more technology beyond our wildest imagination. how will will humanity cope?

I look to history of human colonization the colonizer with new technology always absorbs the local culture into virtual extinction. Will we be irreverent partner absorbed into an Alien culture over time?

Are we already in process of absorbing into an Alien culture through technology with out knowing right now as I type?

Some intriguing thoughts?

This I can very much relate to. The skills I developed in my working life are of little value in today's world; skills I'd love to pass on to my grandsons, but of what value would they be to them in an ever more technological society?

I have no doubts that there are indeed other intelligent life forms in out galaxy, and very likely they are far more advanced than us, possibly by millions of years. Could it be that the plot of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" was far more prophetic than we realized? Could be they are deciding if humans need a good whippin' for not taking care of the planet....

DD.... I agree 100%. But as I've stated before I believe humans as a species is very arrogant. Any other life form able to travel here at will be so far advanced we could never relate to them. It would be like a wasp trying to relate to us. It (wasp) would get ignored until it stung and then we'd deal with it in like kind. Us humans are so stupid we'd try and shoot down something we didn't understand and then wonder why we're "under attack" like the wasp. Neither was under "attack" until it showed aggression.

And here's where our arrogance would shine...! We'd assume any intelligent life form arriving here would want to interact with us humans. And we'd do everything in our power to make that happen. We'd try anything to make contact and communicate. Even if they were obviously trying to avoid us we'd still pester them. And just like the wasp we'll do something stupid and then wonder what happened.... We just can't help ourselves I believe. Since 1 wasp stung you all wasp's mean harm. Just like if 1 county (human) show's aggression toward a superior life form we are all guilty. And rightfully so....!!!!

I too here in the total woods I live within. I've been an outdoors-man my entire life and can't explain some of the sounds and things I've seen in person. Probably a good explanation but it's beyond my understanding.

The first reaction of a Wasp or Bee flying around a person is all the same.

The person agressively swatting, flailing the hands and arms around while yelling, screaming at the insect.

Simple aggressive behavior can elicit aggression even the Wasp.

Result person gets stung.

Simple passive slow wave of the hand and arm, as if you were dismissing the Wasp/Bee.

Result it just flies away.

It's actually funny how this works with people.
A person can pretty well say anything to anyone in a soft quiet manner.

Say the exact same thing agressively and the gloves drop.
