4th time out metal detecting with my son at a lake and finally found a ring!
A High School Class Of 04 ring.
After doing some research It has no precious metals or stones. Made of "Lumstrium" with a synthetic stone.
Found a Keychain with key....also 4 dimes 3 nickels and 4 pennies....oldest being a 1965 dime.
Found some things that look to be melted tinfoil or something..

Good snag. I bet its precious to who ever lost it. Are you going to try and find its owner?

:icon_thumright: hopefully you can find the school on the ring, and the initials in the ring to return it to the owner -you might be able to match it on classmates(dot)com if your lucky.... that slag foil junk is usually from people cooking on foil and tossing it when they are done. I avoid areas that have charcoal grills just because I hate digging that stuff! congrats on the ring! too bad that coin wasn't a 1964! :laughing9:

Congrats on the find. I'm sure the young lady was heartbroken about loosing it.
Contact the school, they can help you find her.

Congs on the class ring. I hope you can find the young lady that lost it. I also love hunting lakes. That is where I find most of my rings. Good luck on your next outing. I hope the gold gods will be good to you......Matt
