Couple hours this morning

Got out first thing this morning, to an old site that was occupied for a long time. Found my 211th old copper and it's toasted like so many of the others. A nice bell and a1965 dog tag lead pieces and what I think is part of a door knocker. Still just glad to get out. Good luck to all. Art

I'm really not sure, could be from the 50s, but I know some are older. Maybe someone will educate us

I always love an intact crotal bell. The heel plate is very nice too. I'd love to find even one toasted copper from way back when? Nice to see you getting some nice finds Art.

Given the other finds that were found and digging heel plates over the years I'd put them in the late 1800's dating or into early 1900's.

Nice haul from the hunt, something about digging bells-I never tire of seeing them pop out of the dirt. There's so many different sizes and shapes and it helps date a site also if the bells have maker marks I find that the winner of the day.
