the anular space in this video is 1/16 inch on a 3" OD for a surface area of 0.450996 in/2. a typical vacuum jet for 3 inch is a 3/4 jet (0.4418 in/2) and he said his pump was 2 inch at 185 gpm and ran it at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle, more throttle did nothing
so the numbers between the 2 different jets is about the same but hes at half throttle
a 2 inch is typically a 1/2" jet (0.196 in/2)
2" anular surface area is .3 in/2
2-1/2" anular surface area is .362 in/2
looking at the numbers it seems like a 1.5" pump might do it upto a 2.5" nozzle
i just dont like the thought having to screen the intake of the pump down to 1/16" so the anular space doesnt get plugged up with anything larger than 1/16" passing through the pump
