Couple oddities.

Three things I need help with.

1. What’s the glass thing with the loop for?

2. What’s the tiny copper belt for?

3. Why does the one bottle have a divider.

Found these in a bottle dump.

The bottle with the divider is an ink bottle. The bottle was filled with ink and the small divided well is for putting the ink in to dip the pen in it without dipping all the way into the bottle to put the ink on the writing point, and possibly getting ink all over the pen, your hand, or the paper. Cool finds!

First I've seen one of those ink bottles , a better fit than my guess .

Any other guesses on the belt and other glass thing.

You would close the lid, then tip the bottle to fill the well (small reservoir) then upright the bottle and the well would be filled and ready for use.
I hesitate to say, I remember using these bottles.
