OMG...I guess maybe I had one & didn't know it? Those were used to drill holes in...? Is this one in mine, it's that white one near bottom on right...enlighten me outlaw if you would please Yours are really nice!

it does look like the upper half of a drill and as to what they "drilled" with them you will have to refer to the experts on here...maybe pottery, jewelry, bone, wood, IMO.

there are a lot of drill types and forms, not all of them are cylindrical some are reworked points which are fairly large. I guess it depended on what they needed it for.
