Went to the stagecoach stop/ post office today and it didn't go well. The only thing standing is 3 barns full of cow poop. The ground was so hard and rocky i couldn't dig because i forgot the big shovel. I gave up on the stagecoach site and concentrated on the barns looking for relics. The relic search was going well until i looked up and saw a skunk looking at me. As i thought you no good skunk don't you it was to late. :-\ Lucky me he missed and i backed out of the barn. As i got to the the car i spy ed a coyote and he was yelping as if he got a good laugh. Soon this site will be gone because they are widening the road and anything i didnt find will be lost for good. When my daughter returns my camera i will post my relics. Well got to go i smell like a cows rear end...aa

LOL, what was the guys name in the Li'l Abner cartoons, that had the black cloud hangin over him all the time, Joe something :)

Well, at least the skunk had bad aim, otherwise you and tomato juice would have been buddies for the bath tub.

Don its not easy digging out relics 12 in. down in cow poop. It stinks :D

Now, anytime you can have a face to face with a skunk and don't find yourself later bunking in the barn or bathing in vat of tomato juice, I'd say you've had one lucky day.

That sucks! I am sorry that the cow poop and hte other wild life animals kept you from digging. Hope you do well next time!

Glad the skunk missed ya. Had one on our deck eating the cat's food the other day. Normally it's raccoons & possums.

It that what TNeters mean when they say they got skunked ;D Lucky for you

That stinks.........That really STINKS!! Glad he missed ya.......Oh, and the coyote wasn't hungry! Better luck next time.

Moon

Hey DoubleA.... Wish I had been there with a video camera. I'll bet you came up with some unique dance steps dodging the spray!

As we say when driving in the country (NO, it's not ALL country) here in Wisconsin.."Ah, the fresh dairy-air". I think that's French

OK OK it didn't turn out Jim but there was enough manure there to fertilize 2000 acres

Don,

That guy's name was Joe P$#*&@! ...... or something like that. Wasn't he always getting zapped by a lightning bolt? :icon_scratch:

BTW......reckon aa smells like a cow's butt normally and he let it slip out? (Cause he sure didn't mention trying to borrow Mental Granny's tub for a clean-up!) :icon_jokercolor:
