Crafts from Afghanistan, Bamyan valley. Need help for recognition...

Hello, dear all.
I travelled in Afghanistan a couple of month ago, and in Bamian valley locals gave me this crafts.
I would like to figure out, what it is.
If you have some ideas and can help with identification - I would be grateful.

They look very much like amulets.
I’d guess them to not be of Muslim origin, due to the designs.
