Creekwalking Arrowhead

Hello, Well I got back in the creek for a while on the 6th of Sept. the first thing I found was what I believe is a corner tang knife? The next was a point, can anyone help with IDing? :icon_scratch:

Your first one, IMO, is a lamellar blade that's seen some pretty heavy use. Depending on where you found it (?) it might be decidedly early, or Woodland era.

The first piece looks like a flkae tool of some kind and not a Corner Tang. The point has a Paleo look to it. Does it have any grinding along the sides of the base? If it does it more than likely is a Paleo type point and it could be an exhausted Holland Point.

Hey wondered where you had been. In the creek I see. They look very old culture to me. That base on your point is looking kinda like a dalton style base. But I have been wrong before. Looks like old old stuff to me and very nice finds. Welcome back

sorry I haven't gotten back. Thanks for your comments I appreciate all the help I get on here!

@ TnMtns, yeah I've been busy but I still find time to get out every now & then!

Can't wait for the fields to get harvested I found a corn field that's right near a creek & is only accessible by locked gate! Best part is that same farmer that lets me walk his other fields!!

So hopefully I'll find some good stuff!
