Took a quick walk to retrieve my pinpointer (long story) and, of course, had to search along the way. Some interesting stuff.. UPDATING with some photos of this demon-seed out of the voodoo bottle. Upon closer examination I now see that there is a very obvious slice out of the bag of the head. Eeks. I believe I have shared this, but if not...
DAD'S THREE RULES FOR LIFE:
1) Keep your money in your front pocket...
2) Never talk to "the man" without an attorney present...
3) Never, ever do crazy...

The doll is a Rule 3 Violation (R3V). Not superstitious in the least, but put her back in the dirt...and by the way, CRAZY finds!

I'd re-bury that thing pronto.

. It's got REAL human hair on it.IMG_20180502_145800.webp Yikes.

Cool ! I was just gong to say, Pull it out & get better Pics !
Nice Find ! I wish there were Voodoo thingies here to Find.
If it is Voodoo & not some Kids Toy.
no Haitians Here I'm aware Of.

Wow, really cool!

do a dna hair test

The most hilarious thing I can think of to do with it, would be to track down whoever buried and give it back to them. "Yo, you dropped your jar doll!"

I would sell the voodoo doll in a bottle on Ebay. You never know what kind of price you might get if you said you dug it up. You could embellish it some and say you could feel it watching you wherever you went and felt some soul was trapped in the doll. lol I bet it would get over a hundred bucks on there with a good story.

Re-bury that thing quick !!

If Voodoo, The hair would Belong to the Victim/Subject.

I would "Think" Burying the Doll would
suggest Entrapping the Victim. If I Thought Voodoo Worked,I would think releasing it,
would release the Victim.

and they would no longer be entrapped.

could also be Wicca or Witchcraft.
not Satanism. I never read of a Satanist Playing with dolls.

not a love spell or there would have been 2 dolls in it, tied together.

these things were also used for cures. either way, if spells worked :tongue3: once the lid is removed,
even returning it to the jar and soil should have no effect Since You are Not
the original Spell Caster going through a ritual while burying it. You'd have already Released any spirits in the Jar.
to the original Witch / Priest / Priestess Even laying eyes on it,
or Removing the Jar from the Soil, may have already made the spell Null & void.

Yea I would say without a doubt that is a voodoo doll. Buried in a jar hopping to suffocate someone. If you believe in fate, karma, luck, I would go get looked over by someone in the spiritual field. You never know what kind of curse was put on that jar. If you believe that stuff.

Yep that's the 'crux of the biscuit' :tongue3:

ooops I accidentally hit edit on your post :(

Well that thing is terrifying.

Retrieving pinpointers must be a common thing, I have done that twice already.
:laughing7:
Creepy doll YES.

I have positioned it on a shelf, in my work office, because we have something in common: We are both trapped but can see through the glass to the outside world. Oh...and we both have the same disgruntled look on our face all day long.

Creepy doll YES.

His pinpointer is now cursed too. He will never again be able to locate a target again (except for jewelry or dental work attached to corpses)

Just That I've Read & Own Many Many books on the Occult. Voodoo, Witchcraft, Satanism Etc. from my teens through my 20's.
Enough to Know it only works on the weak Minded.

But I Still Enjoy seeing Occult related Items.
I wouldn't necessarily Purchase them ,
But I would Love to Find them

If one of your neighbors appears to age 150 years overnight - now you will know why.

the bottle should help date it
