There's a book about CRH and it's called "Striking it rich with silver in coin rolls" It tells about coin roll hunting and what you can accomplish from it. I personally think that's a HORRIBLE idea. The author is exposing CRH!!! >:( What do you think?

hell yeah em. Dont forget about buying gold dawg.

Dawg I like gold but I feel it's over inflated compared to silver because people are scared of their own shadow right now and holding their gold tight.

To add to that, I posted awhile back about this book, saying it was a laugh because of the title (striking it rich). Unfortunately the conversation turned towards hating the author for spoiling our hobby. It then came out he was a long time member of the forum. That dude's been doing this longer than most of us, and to be honest I don't blame him for trying to make some money. It's not going to ruin the hobby. We should be happy that a fellow member got a book published. I also might add that there is an "every man for himself" type attitude on the CRH TNET forum when it comes to finding silver at banks (which I'm all about). That's just what this guy did, he said "I'm making some caaaaaash!"

Really?!? He is a member on this forum! I think your right.

I don't know his handle, but if you look search for older threads on this forum (only about a month ago), someone gives it

These books are definately not on the best seller list. I have checked to see if there were any on the selves at a couple of Barns and Nobles never found one. I am sure you can get it online but if it were a big deal they would stock them.

Honestly I can attribute CRH to a book I read on metal detecting called "urban treasure hunting." I actually bought the book years ago because I thought it was all about buying and selling antiques. Needless to say it got me hooked on metal detecting. This got me back into coin collecting, which i hadn't focused on since I was a kid. Anyways, I bought a new nickel book, and to fill it I went up to the cashier at the bookstore and asked to buy a couple of rolls of nickels. Didn't even think about finding older or rarer ones, I just wanted new shiny nickels to put in my book. Anyways, this idea snowballed and I found myself searching through nickels and quarters like mad. After a year or so I started ordering halves, and the rest is history. any online or published info on CRH I found well after I had already started the hobby out of common sense. Which, is why I have no patience for basic, basic thread starters here, like "how can I get coins?", or "which dates do I look for?" Put in the time people, put in the time
