My little buddy really did it today. Bases loaded Casey at bat.... Hehe....he drives it deep left field, scores 3 runs, he gets a double out of it! Last inning, runner on second he smacks it to deep right field, runner scores. We win 8-4. He hit in 4 out of the 8 runs, gets MVP today WOOOHOOO!!!! I'm so proud!!!! Heck I'm even proud when he strikes out. He's playing ball and having fun that's all I care about!

How fortunate you are to share time, guidance and love with this young man!

Be sure to discuss that he may not always bat a thousand.

Life has a way of proving this precept.

Prepare him for failures along the way.
Teach him to seek ways to improve.
Teach him that he can achieve anything that he desires.
Teach him how to win graciously.
Teach him to lose with dignity.

Teach him your Values and....Well, I guess you got this, Bro!

thank you so much! I appreciate your comments. As a soldier I have taught my boys my core values. We have 3 rules to live by and they can repeat these rules at a moments notice. The little guy has learning disabilities, but.....

Never quit

His teachers have been amazed, but he struggles. They liken him to a Pitbull. He won't quit! Funny.....that was my call sign on Active Duty..... Have I passed on my values? Yet to be seen, but they are tried daily and my boys what was that line from " Outlaw Josey Wales?" Oh yeah Must endeavor to persevere. I'm trying buddy lord knows I'm trying. Thanks Scott for the encouragement. Hey, number 8 is funny haha

The gist of my Presentation concerns VA PTSD Facilities in Georgia and Florida.

Showing their locations, (Only 3 in Georgia)
Another layer showing Vet population by Congressional district, the next shows my proposals for potential locations for PTSD facilities based upon Vet population and the lack of facilities in the area.

I used the matrix of a 50 mile distance....

I then plan on presenting ways to further pursue the information that I've gleaned to present to District members of Congress to consider for Bills.....

My Professor is in awe....

I'm hoping to pass this class.

Hey ,managed to get the computer to load T-Net again ,not sure how but messed with lots of stuff..

Gettin soft ,over did something... and only minor details carried out today.
V.F.W. trauma ( brain) and others at a function this weekend I should be at like last year to try to help a while.
Tomorrow I'll try to pry ,or just go. C'mon coffee power .. and call on reserves from marrow.

Don't know his mind but some disabilities are real ,others are simply different but un recognized wiring's.
Kickin it in ball means he can power through some ruts just fine.
There are folks can't swim or crack a ball . They are not labeled disabled though that depends on ones perspective.
Enough money and the nonswimmers can run around in an empty pool.

Better have lots of faith if going to sea though.

Book learnin vs ouch I ain't goin that way again. Or ,so that's how that works/worked and street smarts have their place too.
