You are aware of felis domesticus's affination towards grazing on house plants.

Cat's who are strictly limited to inside need plant roughage for casting hairballs.

I'm sure that you know about poisonous plants for cats.

Otis,
My Buddy, got older, neutered and declawed.
Much like me now, he had became harmless....
Otis became an indoor cat.

I still allowed Otis in the yard almost daily,
and the first thing he did was to find a patch of fresh, tender grass roots to chew on.
Their source of Vitamin C through photosynthesis and chlorophyll?

I Don't know....
Haven't yet studied botanical physiology.....

I forgot what I was gonna say, 'cause I've gotta read some Hegel.

Yes, thanks Scott I am plant savvy. ..he doesn't eat them and I have no poisonous ones..
Also he does go outside through a wooden tunnel to a wooden enclosure that opens to an area enclosed by deer fencing..on top as well..the cats have the best of both worlds and are also safe...

Otis was a rapt listener to my thoughts.
He never denied my ideology and often provided a supportive rub, head-butt and a full bust out purring attack.
