CRISPINS CRITTERS

Don,

Good choice of tune....btw....Crispin actually requested that one way back when he was going through a rough patch.

Anyway...long story short. Turns out the District Attorney was on my side. Who would have figured? Real shame...one needed treatment and not a jail cell. O who am I kidding, its all just a lie created by Big Pharma to shove drugs down people's throats. Anyway, County Sheriff agreed with me too. Funny the way the world works...

God Bless

Talk of treatment?
Talk of Pharma?

You surely know that I'm opposed to pharma on initial diagnosis.

Not knowing the particulars of the situation,
all that I can say is that the Government has no idea how to benefit those needing treatment.

Huh?
Getting too political?

OK. I understand. Oh, I see that I've also pi$$ed of the big pharma...

SO? :dontknow:

Crispin, My Friend,

Hope that you take, no, MAKE some time to and for yourself (and take some milkbones to the Shelter....)

Time better spent than in a damn courtroom any day of the week! (Don't ask how I know....)

Best,

Scott

A tune, ferreted out by clues by Crispin,
from awhile ago....

Enjoy my Friend!

The connection, as is the Friendship, is as strong as ever!

No Fear within sight, my Captain!

Best,

Scott

PS.
O Captain! My Captain! our fearful trip is done;
The ship has weather'd every rack, the prize we sought is won;
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring:

But O heart! heart! heart!O the bleeding drops of red,Where on the deck my Captain lies,Fallen cold and dead.O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills;
For you bouquets and ribbon'd wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding;
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;

O captain! dear father!This arm beneath your head;It is some dream that on the deck,You've fallen cold and dead.My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still;
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will;
The ship is anchor'd safe and sound, its voyage closed and done;
From fearful trip, the victor ship, comes in with object won;

Exult, O shores, and ring, O bells!But I, with mournful tread,Walk the deck my captain lies, Fallen cold and dead.

Don,

So true.....being north of the border I wasn't directly involved but followed things pretty closely and felt the suffering of my cousins south of the border.

OK.

Here ya go....

(1971)

Sorry, pre-disco era.
However, some great music originated during that era...
Example...

Hit #1 Nov. 6th, 1976.

Along with these....

I compiled a message to the appropriate source on my College email in attempt to restore my webpage.
Fingers are crossed....

RC,
Your post reminds me of this song...

Love My Mom!

She passed 5 days before Christmas 2001.

Sniffle...

Best,

Scott

SWEET electric hollow-body guitar!! Gibson? Ibenez? Gretsch?
My bet is Ibenez.....George's usual favorite....
(look at the "f" holes and pick-up placement....)
Though it does have the face finish of a Gibson "Butterscotch Sunburst" appearance.....
A hybrid original?

Give me a full compliment of tools, materials, chemicals, time and space.

Give me a garage from life.
I'll create anything that your mind can conceive.....
I'll "tinker."
A pioneer of imagination and ideas...

Best,

Scott

PS.

I'm currently performing cursory investigations towards an idea that I have concerning AIDS research.
Concerning natural enzymes and the ability to be both effective and synthesized...

So far, no one has shown any similar research. :dontknow:

I know that Gibson uses Humbuckers 'cause I once owned a Gibson Solid body Fire engine red face with dual Humbuckers, lost during a divorce....

DAMN!

You know why divorces cost so much?

THEY'RE WORTH IT!

Ahem...

The one that I once owned was similar to the one in the front of the picture.(but not really that close...)

Didn't even EVER have belt marks on her back.
I bought her new...
Even gave her a name...

We both played on stage, live, a time or two....
I miss her....

ADDED:

You're gonna love this!
Thanks to Google imagery or some other kind of foolishness and the intranets,
I found a photo shot of the joint that I played on stage!
About the time I attended the University of Kansas, in Lawrence? Yeah, I'm pretty sure... maybe....late 80's?
Dang!
Who can remember that long ago?

(I never said that I played Carnegie Hall.....yet.)

I have a third, maybe fourth Cousin who is First Flute in the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
Seriously! Her name is Tacey.
Don't make me search distant relatives, Please?

Let's just enjoy this piece and I'll add it to future study music. :coffee2:

The melodies and "riffs" remind me a lot of the Moody Blues....

VERY talented and disciplined group of musicians.

Ya know,
I was just thinkin' about the love of critters and especially my Otis and Barb's Winston,
that no one has posted this Artist....

For Barb and Pat, and all of my Friends....
Cat Stevens....

"Stories From The Road of Life."
The title of a book that I'm compiling...

(I've plenty of stories to tell and I believe in my ability to tell those stories
with the vocabulary and story-telling ability that you will easily soon see yourself in the story....)

"No, really, I am SO close to being on the Times Best Seller list...."

"Really?"
"Is that what you tell the drunk women coming out of the bar,
looking for a man who wears cheap cologne that reminds her of her Father?"

brian2.webp
"Now hold on a minute...every one of those women were of age. I checked ID's."

Wish I knew how to type.
Or a secretary!

Yeah, That's what I want!

To be able to type...

Best,

Scott
