Chevy 192 straight six.

I have used the snowblower for propulsion but front casters liked to dig in sometimes.
With all safety devices defeated the blower would just keep on going forward if neutral was missed as arms stretched..

Ah!

Slight modifications to put on "ski" blades!

Make it a quick change-over to the regular front wheels, with the spring button type of attachment.....

Not much snow here in Georgia, but I'd bet a good working change-over
kit would sell pretty good in "Yankee Land!"

Thanks for the idea. When I'm selling them, what percent of royalties do you require? 2%? More?!?

Summer has been enjoyable, at times....

Now, Fall is just around the bend.
With it comes Pumpkin Pie, Cider, Football games and cooler temps.

Think back....
Can't you remember the smell of a Neighbor's burning leaves as you played football with the rest of the "neighborhood kids?"
Perhaps a radio on the sideline, blaring out you favorite College team playing on a Crisp, Fall, Saturday afternoon?

How do I know Fall is near?
I went to the Dollar Store to pick up a couple of items and saw that they have now begun merchandising Halloween candy and such.

Christmas will be merchandised in a week or two....

(First song I ever taught myself to play on a cheap, "won't stay tuned" guitar....)


I replaced the machine heads (Tuning Keys) and hand carved an ebony bridge.
Played that guitar for a couple more years after that.
Fortunately the neck was straight....

I still have the machine heads I replaced around here somewhere.
Also the first attempt for the bridge. I think it's walnut....

I'll post pics if I remember where they are....

Friends,

I've done some searching for the machine heads and walnut bridge,
But, no luck.

I did, however find from about 5 years ago some willow branches that I collected.



I'd say that they are right for makin' "Dream Catchers..."

I've got some around here that I've made. Seems like I'm always lookin' for something....

Anywho,

I also came across a book, holding collected Treasures and pressed.

Today, I gazed upon them for the first time in over 5 years!







I also found makings for "Sachet Balls."
Using cloves for aromatics, cloth mesh and such.

Makes great gifts year-round!



But, Alas, No guitar parts. Yet.
Where in the L% did I see them last?

lol, although I must admit while I type this post by the pool here in Florida...I am simply DREADING ANOTHER MAINE WINTER!!!! lol!!! Although I am looking forward to pumpkin pie!!

I know. I know. I'm only down here for two weeks this time as that's all the time my wife could take off. I am handling the heat great and even have a good sunburn to prove it lol. Seems the sunscreen washed off more than I realized while body boarding last Saturday. I could easily handle staying here full time. Especially with half price shakes after eight at night at sonic!!! Lol

I've just learned that I'll probably have to move by the end of the year.

To WHERE?

Back to Kansas?

Again?

Perhaps somewhere I've never been?

My sleeping dreams lately have been about re-upping in the Army, wandering streets in my hometown, looking for friends and family, and new apartments that are "maze-like."

I find myself lost in yet familiar territory;
Germany and my home town...What can it all mean?
