Crossed muskets pin. Info please

getting a bit overwhelmed with researching this.. hoping someone can give me a time frame. I know its brass and probably a hat pin.

Other fakes scroll to bottom shows crossed rifles with a 2 and an E.
It says "This is not a fake item. This is a post Civil War infantry badge."

and this web site, tho none have a 4 and a c it does say what the numbers and letters mean.
