thought i was done for just before lunch when the lobo started to play up, but as luck would have it cru,s dad bought their spare cortes with him!

got 6 roman coins
a counterfeit george 111 silver plated shilling
george 1st dump farthing
george 11 farthing
medievel lead cloth seal
medievel book clasp
and lots of buttons and stuff

pics to follow from crusader as even after cleaning my camera wont do them justice!

Just got back from pi ssing it up.......


It was a great day by anyones standards & Shaun7 used the Lobo like a pro.

See the before they were cleaned shots, the blue Victorian glass bottle was a special eyes only find (in a ploughed field!!!!!)

just put that in with the button thing and you were right, half the back came off as i cleaned it! must have been the dirt holding it together!

Nice finds Shaun, you learn fast it seems. How many of these with the LOBO and how many with the CORTES?
I see you have finally cleaned your mats from your car! Great, now I can actually see them!

Nice to see your finds increasing. Don't kick the LOBO (saying XP is boss), there will be days that you will BEAT the XP, I used to beat the other detectors almost all the time, until all the rest of my crew also bought LOBO's. Its still a d a m n good detector once you get used to it....

thanks woody got four of the roman coins with the lobo, but to be honest the finds didn't slow down with the cortes! they are both brilliant in my opinion
i was a bit dissapointed when the lobo started playing up, i would have liked to have finished the day off with it,but i don't think the results would have been any different!
oh! and thats not my car the pictures were taken in
