CSA Flag Tenn CSA Bullets

The "Confederate flag" is in a framed display with dug bullet from "Tenn. CSA"
Is this something worth buying (owning)? Having trouble finding any info on the flag, its small,
perhaps 4" x 6".
Any help would be great. Thanks

Yes, but assume the flag is not from the Civil War. It takes hands on by experts to tell the old ones. Could easily been one made in the 1960's for the centennial.

Nice find SEANO! You aren't seeing many Confederate Flag's anymore on places like EBay because of the current climate. You have a display that probably holds real bullets - flag is just decoration. Here is one (different flag - buy now - $10.99) I just found on EBay titled: "Shot Bullet from the Army of Tennessee"

From what I can see, looks like it could be from one from the 1913 50th Anniv in Gettysburg or perhaps some other 50th Anniv. Celebration.

I remember in the late 50's and early 60's, there were small flags and flag holding attachments that all the kids would install on their bicycle handle bars. That flag is probably not old enough to be from the civil war period. It is a nice display.

Without being able to clearly read the descriptions around the bullet, percussion cap, button, etc, it would appear that this is a display of western theater artifacts attributed to some key engagements that the Army of Tennessee participated in. The AoT was not at Gettysburg, though much of Longstreet's Corps from the Army of Northern Virginia that fought at Gettysburg were transferred west and fought at Chickamauga in September of '63. I'd guess that the display was put tougher in the 1960's around the Centennial, though it certainly could have been put together more recently. As mentioned earlier the flag is "modern" by CW standards. Personally I wouldn't pay more than $15-$20 for it, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Regardless, it will look nice on your wall!
