"CSA" Is this what i think it is?!!

Found today about 6 Inches down at the site of an 1880s demolished home. I just loaded the fragments up in my pouch and didn't think anything of them. When I got home and put the puzzle together my jaw dropped. Is the Civil War CSA?!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welp, just received an email back from the expert at relicman.com. He has no idea what my plate is either and has no comparables. He did confirm that it doesn't match his known fakes and replicas. Guess we will never know...

Ha! I don't know where Edward disappeared to. His 72 hours before he was so graciously going to drop knowledge on us expired long ago. PAGING EDWARD!!!!

i dont know man, that thing is pretty thin, the double border is odd also. many Union plates are thin like that and do have slight variations, I think CS plates are usually like an 1/8 of an inch thick. I hope you can find some research on it, if theres another one floating around out there then your good to go, if its a "1 of a kind"? thats when you run into problems,lol.
