im not sure about cyns.but one like this was my first digging tool for detecting.BFO kit detector.back in 1966.i stood about 5 ft tall back then.so it was the perfect size.later the metal hinge quit working so we wired it in the open position.still used occasionally in gardening at dads house.are these antique like or do they still make em.

Cool prizes! Thanks Cyn. Shovel appears to be circa late 1960's German trenching tool. You can use the pick or shovel by themselves or in a couple of combinations. Very sturdy.

shhhh...its late.after midnite but a course Scrounger is up scrounging around.to see what can be found.so that when you open your eyes .you will find another prize .heres just what a treasure hunter needs for those long winter nights thatr comin up.if you can tear yourself away from TNET long enough to read it study this carefully and u may find a very BIG treasure indeed. in fact I WILL BE VERY DISSAPPOINTED if i dont see the winner of this prize on the news.HAH SO THERE ! lol I was teasin ya silly man....I have not tried a night hunt...may have to win one myself so we can all try it! lol As far as the shovel goes...I do believe it was Jeff that got it right....German with the pick as well as shovel...heavy lil buggers but quite handy I am sure.

One of the hunters last year had one just like it that he had cut the blade down on and it was VERY nice. I think he also reversed the blade and the pick for some reason. Darn it I wish I could remember who it was now...

Doin' ok.They ended about 3am.Only lost power a couple of times.The joy of small towns,all the dentists are taking a 4 day holiday.One of their answering machines said leave a msg if it's an emergency and someone would call me back.Does anyone call a dentist otherwise?No call yet.

lol I sure don't call a dentist if it is not an emergency AND someone makes me! lol Sure am glad to hear you are okay....make sure you let us know you are STILL okay after seeing that dentist....something horribly warped about that profession if you ask me!
