Flying with a MD is not a large problem. I put the equipt in bubble wrap (we know how the gorillas throw things) and I put a business card with the control unit with my cell phone number on it. They did search my bags, but no issues.

Ask the airline agents beforehand to see if there are any 'special' requirements.

Lordy, something tells me that the Super 8 is going to be the party hotel....LOL

I am trying not to jinx this trip like last year, but I can tell you one thing.......my shoes are on, they are ready to be tied........and I'm out the door in a couple of days. Now, did I forget anything? Oh yes......my metal detectors.......LOL

Oh, Cyn....I'm bringing my wetsuit and snorkle gear..........just in case....LOL You see, us Okies like to go swimming in the cow tank, right, Stoney? And if there is a creek nearby......Lordy.....it's skinny dipping time! LOL

Cyn, what Mel was trying to say is that wetsuits are necessary in certain ponds and creeks. If you don't check the area thoroughly, then sometimes a likes to grab hold of certain appendages. Thus protection is occasionally necessary. LOL J/K

WOW. I just read the whole post. That trip sounds like a great time. Wish I had the loot to head out with you all (maby next year). I am going to be heading up on the 12th to Chicago for a Illinois hunt since its in my budget. I will dig into my silver stash and add a prize for your event. 2 one ounce silver rounds. Add them to the list and send me a p.m. with the address to ship it.

Ok, these gifts are handcrafted by me. The female trail hunters will receive a western theme bead bracelet and the male trail hunters will receive a western theme bookmark. A lot of hard work went into coming up with ideas...hope you like em and put em to good use.
