Well I met Saltwater Max today.I never paid any attention before,I just thought he was on the coast somewhere,but nope,he's right here in MO!I drove 150mi and made a detector trade with him.Really enjoyed him and the meeting and can recommend him anytime.

Yeah, he seems like a good dealer... and he's either in or around Springfield, because he's got the 417 area code.
I was thinking the other day that it would be cool to buy a Tesoro from him when I head up to Springfield next week, but then I realized how much this trip was already costing me. I still have to get better at using my Explorer anyway before I get another detector I suppose.

Traded my Tejon for a mint Vaquero.I know the V is a step down but easier to operate especially since I had one before.Yeah still got Dixie.I know she's smart,too smart.She knows just when to act dumb,kinda like well never mind I'm already in trouble.

I am getting really amped about the hunt. I am going to hang tight to Monty, since he has "eagle eyes" and can find brass tokens on the surface of the ground. I will wear my lucky Camo (like Donna does), rub anything that brings luck and then get after it.

I am up for some garden work if needed. Brian is planning on working on the jeep but that won't take too terribly long from what he said.
