CTH3 OFFICIAL SITE FOR THE HUNT.

you should see her when she gets off an airplane. LOL

This time I am not worried about them! The time of the year and different conditions. But, I will say I've always lived in this area and have never had that type of reaction before!

How about a little midnight dig with Bran! We got Mo in a Hoodie then Gypsy and next is TC the River Rat and takin a load off on the can is Chey!

according to local exterminators, if you use a product with Deet it will keep them away

Getting ready to leave pretty soon to go get Jeff YEAH! :hello2:

hope he had a good time

Speaking of those buffalo gnats, remember I too was wondering what the heck bit me, but it was the next day when the itching started, then the following morning the welts appeared, I thought I got a good case of bed bugs at the roach motel. But after a good examination it was just my neck, ears and face. Then again, I had thought one mosquito took advantage of me when I was sleeping and continuously bit me all about the neck area. So, then I knew it was not bed bugs, never had those critters, but I believe it would had been all over my body. By the time I got home, after talking with Evy on her going to the hospital and Steve too, I got myself to the doctor's office. I was given some kind of salve to relieve the itching and swelling. The doctor was laughing about the buffalo gnats...he never heard of em. Believe me it was worst than mosquito bites.

next time, if it happens again, use a little peroxide on the bites, it helps to nuetrlize the bite and inflamation

Yeah, agreed, RR! MUCH worse than a mosquito bite! My eyes were swollen shut by afternoon. Thanks to Dr. Ros, she had some sort of Emu oil that relieved the itching. :-* I love her! Don't want to have to deal with those nasty little bugs again! :-X Maybe they'll not be so bad in the spring.

OH..and Evy...Jeff just called...says he wants to stay in the south for a bit longer. :D

Have a great day, ya'll!

Nana :-*

woooohoooo we get to experience Caldwell with no buffalo gnats! Nasty lil buggers!

Skeeter bites don't even compare at all with what these little ba****ds will do to you. Here's some pics from last year.

Here's how I'm dressing! Maybe they won't see me. The picture on the bottom is WSD on his way to Kansas. Being one of the "SIX PACK" , this is how we roll, we dress alike in order to confuse the buffalo gnats. Maybe they'll leave the bushes alone. It worked in Uvalde, should work in Kansas!!!
