Well I won't be able to make it this year, I have already committed to a Hunt in NC in March and the wife will NOT allow me to go to more than one a year. My lawyer says, "It's cheaper to keep her" so I better trust his judgement on this one.

Well here are a few pics of camping sites and one for RV's and camping.
The first two pics has no water or electricity but you can hunt this area also. Old house was there 60 years ago. You can have a camp fire there.




The next site has camping only with bathroom and shower. You can have a camp fire there and is right next to the fair building where we meet.



The last site is the RV and camping. Only contained fire grills.



The only other place is where you hunted the last time and had cookout.

Great sites, the one next to the fair grounds bldg would have toilet and water could be nice. Can't get closer than that. Lets see what opinions everybody has. We could have a fire down below there where we did last year at night and hunt too. I'm up for anyplace! Thanks Burdie for all your work, it is much appreciatted!!!!

I definitely like the idea of being able to have a campfire...what is camping without a fire? Like Steve said, it might be nice to have the showers available in case someone falls in the muddy creek too! lol

Just a reminder for all those who haven't been to Caldwell or have forgotten, if you have AT&T cell service , you're out of luck because unless its changed since last year, there is no coverage. You can drive back toward interstate and you will get a signal but thats about 15 miles away. Just don't leave home and tell your wife you will be calling her on your cell, cause it ain't happening!!! Lol! It affected a bunch of us last year, just didn't want any newcomers to be suprised. Now this is only Caldwell, not at the motels several miles away.

If you need an emergency number to contact during the hunt for your wife, husband or loved one, someone that has another carrier that works there would probably offer their number for an emergency contact number.

T-Mobile does not get a signal either.You can't use anything except smoke out there.

I love it......smoke is all you can use!!!! Thats why we need a fire and of course a blanket off our horse like Tonto and the Lone Ranger did!!! Who needs cell phones anyway as long as we have fire after Cindy finishes cooking breakfast. ROFL !!!
